Hand sewing rings on a large roman shade today! I love all these little pins lined up in a grid.

Some pretty new machines came home with me from Sloan Machinery! Thanks Sam and Freddie! Can wait to get them in the workroom and play.

Current state of my workroom after moving this past weekend! I think i have a little organizing to do!!

This beauty has a new outfit and is heading back to the cape.  

My smart friend had us recover her patio cushions in this fun floral in the "off" season. She is all set to go for spring!! Bring on the nice weather...please!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone.   Here's a set of accent pillows I completed recently.  Love how the colors pop against the red chair.

These vintage red, white and blue cushions are an appropriate delivery for this election day! I'm going to focus on the "pretty" today!

Slip cover put on today. The white denim not only updated the look of a quality sofa but brightened the whole room!!

A custom valance can hide drapery hardware in a sophisticated and stylish way.

Beautiful trim being hand sewn to the leading edge of this silk drape. Can't wait to see these hanging!

The relaxed roman shades have a gentle curve along the bottom hem.  They give a room a  more casual feel.

Here  is the back of a large roman shade.   It's not the pretty side but I love the symmetry and hand sewing of rings. Used Safe-T-Shade rings and ring locks so it is compliant with current safety guidelines.  Safe-T-Shade rings and locks are designed to eliminate hazardous loops on your fabric shades thereby making them safer option for your child's room.

These little cuties are all ready to be shipped to a beach house in North Carolina! Call us today if your outdoor cushions need some spring sprucing up!!

I had some great help in the workroom today. Not only did we finish up some small jobs but made all the cuts for upcoming jobs. Looking forward to a productive week!!!

Van is full of window treatments for installation today! I feel like Santa with a full sleigh!!

Simply stunning Robert Allen fabric in the workroom today. Soon to be a duvet cover sure to invoke the sweetest of dreams!

Finally complete this headboard for one very happy daughter! Purple velvet with polished nickel brads.

A lovely customer asked me to make a christening gown for her granddaughter from her wedding gown and her mothers gown. 

We all loved how it came out and I feel honored that she trusted me to take my scissors to these two dresses!

Here's a photo of the finished slipcover from August.   The classic curved shape of the arms and the back are now highlighted by the simple white cover.  

I just completed this "coffee sack" slip cover for my own dining room! It has the added benefit of still smelling a little like coffee and that is a good thing!!!
